My fitness with COPD

While I still have work to do and I am mostly maintaining my gains I am very pleased with my fitness journey so far. More importantly for me is the fact that I can do so much more than I could a few short years ago. Having COPD is not a death sentence and I am not limited by this disease as I used to be. This isn’t to say that it’s always easy because it isn’t. I’ve wanted to quit. It’s hard to keep moving. Sometimes a depression happens but knowing that it may happen and keeping the mindset that I need to keep going if for nothing else than to inspire someone else and show them that there is hope really helps keep me motivated. Looking back at all I’ve accomplished so far is a huge motivation for me and seeing pictures like this reminds me that even though I don’t always remember how far I’ve come that I really have done a lot to improve my quality of life. This is a great journey so far and I have a lot more to do for myself and to help people who are also dealing with chronic conditions like COPD.

Here is an interview I did to help inspire people who have lost hope with chronic illnesses and how I overcame all I did to improve my quality of life.
