Les Mills Combat 30 day update

Les Mills Combat

So today was day 30 of Les Mills Combat. What a great program this is. I am really learning all the moves and able to focus much better on engaging muscles. The fast twitch muscles are improving and I can put much more power into each punch and kick. As the result of the design of the program my posture is also improving.
I really can’t say enough about this program. Dan and Rach sure know how to make it fun and the music is pretty good. Of course when you hear something enough times it gets old but then I can just crank up some of my music and get to work. One of the biggest obstacles to getting started in a new workout is not knowing what to do but it’s all explained in such a simple manner and there’s a disc explaining each move and what to do to make it even easier.

I will be taking my pictures in the morning and measurements to see what I’ve accomplished but even if there’s not a lot of change there I’ll still be happy just because of my improved performance. As most of my readers know, I’m not big on the scale and would rather use the how do you feel measurement. If I feel better then I’ve accomplished what I set out to accomplish. The other part for me is how does it affect my lungs? With COPD that is my overriding concern on just about any workout or fitness tool that I use. If it’s not helping me to breathe better then it’s not something I will continue to do. This program gets me breathing hard and clearing out the lungs which is a good thing for me.

All I can say is I can’t wait to see what the next 30 days brings.

Stay with the fight!!
