Happy New Year

I’d like to wish all my readers a Happy New Year.
Each year there are millions of people who make a New Year’s Resolution to get healthy.
Each year the majority of these resolutions are broken by March.
One of the most important ways to succeed is to sit down and figure out WHY you want to get healthy.
Do you feel depressed and it will help you feel better?
Will you be able to bend down and pick up your child without being in pain?
Will you reduce your cholesterol level and your risk for a heart attack?
Will losing fat help you feel better with diabetes and possibly reduce the need for medications?
Will you simply look better and feel better about yourself?
If you can connect with an emotional reason that is HUGE you will have a much greater chance of success.
There are many reasons people want to get healthy. For me it was a matter of quality of life. With COPD and being depressed I wasn’t living a very fulfilling life at all. I made the decision that I wanted to be able to breathe, I wanted to look better and I wanted to improve my self esteem. Through exercise and nutrition I have been able to do that and so much more. Now I can help other people do the same thing.
What is your WHY and how can I help you get started?
